Founded in 1890, Ilkley Golf Club is the third oldest in Yorkshire and one of the most scenic and enjoyable courses in the region.
Ilkley has hosted golf legends including two former Ryder Cup captains, Colin Montgomerie and Mark James, and Walker Cup captain Rodney Foster. Colin Montgomerie honed his skills here as a junior under club pro Bill Ferguson.
Other golf greats like James Braid, J.H. Taylor, Harry Vardon, Peter Thomson, Christy O'Connor Sr., Gordon J. Brand, and Solheim Cup captain Catriona Matthew have also played the historic moorland course.
In 2020, former Masters champion Ian Woosnam chose Ilkley for his inaugural Senior Golf Classic, praising it as a truly great course.
With original design input from renowned golf architects like Harry Colt, Alister Mackenzie and James Braid, Ilkley offers a world-class golfing experience in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
